Reform by The Point Is Opening in East Boston

Reform by The Point opens September 26 in East Boston — bringing intimate small-group Pilates to Eastie from the team behind The Point Barre & Yoga. Here's everything you need to know before opening weekend.

East Boston is getting its own neighborhood Pilates studio and it's coming from a team that already knows how to build community.

Reform by The Point officially opens Saturday, September 26 at 255 Maverick Street, bringing small-group reformer Pilates, private sessions, and duet training to Eastie. It's the latest from Jessica Drake and Angela D'Amore, the two local moms who co-own The Point Barre & Yoga — and if you've ever taken a class there, you already know what to expect: a welcoming, thoughtfully designed space where people feel at home.

The space itself was thoughtfully designed by Sunday Studio Interiors — a beautiful setting for a studio built with just as much intention.

What Makes Reform Different

Reform by The Point is filling a gap that's hard to find in Boston: the sweet spot between a large group class and a fully private session.

With just six Balanced Body Allegro 2 reformers, the studio was intentionally designed to offer the connection and energy of a group class with the personalized attention of a much smaller setting. Instructors can see you, correct you, and adapt the workout to your body without it feeling like a one-on-one session.

The teaching philosophy is rooted in classical Pilates foundations while incorporating contemporary, evidence-based movement science. Rather than making every client fit the same exercise, instructors meet you where you are adapting movement to the individual while maintaining its quality and intention. Every class emphasizes strength, mobility, precision, breath, control, and confidence.

The instructor team, led by Tiff Fallin, has trained through Balanced Body, Peak Pilates, Power Pilates, STOTT Pilates, and other nationally recognized programs, with a strong emphasis on continuing education and thoughtful instruction.

This isn't just another studio. It's a studio where the teaching matters.

Who It's For

Reform's philosophy is simple: Pilates is for everybody.

Whether you're stepping onto a reformer for the first time, returning to movement after a break, training to support another sport, or simply looking to move and feel better, you belong here. The studio is designed to be approachable without being intimidating, and challenging without being overwhelming.

Opening Weekend + How to Get Started

Reform by The Point is celebrating its opening weekend on September 26 and 27 with a full lineup of classes, gifts, and surprises.

New to Reform? Take advantage of the New Client Intro Special: 3 classes for $75, to be used within 14 days of your first visit.

You can also book individual drop-ins or choose from 4- and 8-class monthly memberships — with members receiving priority booking up to 30 days in advance. Private 1:1 and duet sessions are also available for anyone looking for even more individualized attention.

Part of a Bigger Community

Reform by The Point is part of the larger Point community alongside its sister studios, The Point Barre & Yoga, located at 20 Orleans Street in East Boston and 56 Salt Street in Revere — offering yoga, barre, and mat Pilates.

For clients who want both, Best of Both memberships make it easy to combine the two experiences: unlimited mat-based classes at both Point locations, plus either 4 or 8 Reform classes per month. It's a great option for anyone who loves the variety of yoga and barre but wants to add the resistance, precision, and personalized attention of reformer Pilates to their routine.
